Exporting Customers

How to Export

  1. Open the Data Exchange Center from the Business menu
  2. Click Export on the Customers card
  3. The wizard shows the number of customer records available
  4. Click Export to CSV and choose a save location

What Gets Exported

The CSV file includes one row per active customer with all available fields: Customer Name, Company Name, Address, Address Line 2, City, State, Zip Code, Phone, Email, Mobile, Fax, Tax ID, Website, and Notes.

Using the Export

  • As a template — If you have no customers yet, the export gives you a header-only CSV template
  • For bulk editing — Export, modify customer details in Excel, and re-import to update records
  • For mailing lists — Export your customer list to use with email marketing or direct mail services
  • For backup — Keep a periodic export as a backup of your customer data
