Overview
At AccuArk©, we want you to be completely satisfied with our services. We offer a generous free trial period so you can fully evaluate AccuArk© before committing to a paid subscription. The trial period length depends on your selected plan. This Refund Policy explains how cancellation works, when refunds may be issued, and your responsibilities as a subscriber.
Free Trial Period
We offer a free trial period so you can fully evaluate AccuArk© before committing to a paid subscription. The length of your trial period depends on the plan you select — details are shown on the pricing page and during checkout.
Important: How the Trial Works
- Subscribe to a plan — Choose the plan that fits your business needs
- Trial begins immediately — Full access to all features for the duration of your trial period
- Automatic continuation — After the trial period ends, your subscription continues automatically
- Cancel to avoid charges — If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged
Trial Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time during the free trial period:
- Log in to your account portal
- Navigate to subscription settings
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm your cancellation
If you cancel during the trial period, no charges will be applied. Your access will continue until the trial period ends.
Post-Trial Billing
After your free trial period ends:
- Your subscription automatically continues
- You will be charged the subscription fee for your selected plan
- Billing occurs at the start of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly)
Failed Payments
If a payment cannot be processed:
- We will automatically retry the payment multiple times over several days
- You will receive email notifications about the payment failure
- A grace period of 7 days is provided to resolve the issue
- You can update your payment method in your account portal at any time
- If payment is not received within the grace period, your subscription will be cancelled
Subscription Cancellation
We offer no-questions-asked cancellation — you may cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason, through your account portal. No approval, justification, or support contact is required.
Important: Your Responsibility to Cancel on Time
It is solely your responsibility to cancel your subscription before your next billing cycle begins. AccuArk© sends courtesy renewal reminders, but you should not rely on these notifications alone. If you fail to cancel before the start of your next billing period, you will be charged for that period and no refund will be issued for late cancellation.
Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period — you continue to have full access until then
- You will not be charged for any subsequent billing periods
- You retain access to your data until the end of the billing period
- No partial refunds are issued for unused time within the current billing period
- No refunds are issued for failing to cancel before the next billing cycle — the charge is final once processed
- After the billing period ends, your data is retained for 60 days before permanent deletion
Cancellation is immediate and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. There is no waiting period, no cancellation fee, and no long-term contract obligation.
Billing Cycle Changes
You may switch between monthly and yearly billing at any time:
- Monthly to Yearly: Takes effect at the end of your current monthly period
- Yearly to Monthly: Takes effect at the end of your current yearly period
- No refunds are issued for billing cycle changes — you will use your remaining time at the current rate before the new rate applies
- You can cancel a pending billing cycle change before it takes effect
Refund Policy
General Policy
Because we offer a generous free trial period with full access to all features, and because you may cancel at any time with no questions asked, we do not issue refunds for subscription fees after the trial period has ended. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Forgetting to cancel before the next billing cycle
- Not using the Services during a billing period
- Dissatisfaction with features that were available for evaluation during the trial
- Changing your mind after payment has been processed
- Switching to a competitor or alternative solution
The trial period is your opportunity to fully evaluate the Services. By continuing your subscription past the trial, you acknowledge that the Services meet your needs.
When Refunds May Be Considered
We may consider refund requests in the following circumstances:
- Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a technical error on our part
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same billing period
- Service Unavailability: If the service was unavailable for an extended period due to issues on our end
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you qualify for a refund, please:
- Contact us within 30 days of the charge
- Provide your account information
- Explain the reason for your refund request
- Include any relevant documentation
We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
Plan Changes
If you upgrade or downgrade your plan:
- Upgrades: The new rate takes effect immediately, prorated for the remainder of your billing period
- Downgrades: The new rate takes effect at the start of your next billing period
- Plan transfer fees may apply in certain circumstances
Subscription Ownership Transfers
If you transfer your subscription ownership to another user:
- An ownership transfer fee may apply
- Transfer fees are non-refundable once the transfer is completed
- The fee may be waived at administrative discretion
- If a transfer is cancelled before completion, any collected fees will be refunded
Reactivation
If your subscription has been cancelled or suspended and you wish to reactivate:
- You must pay all outstanding dues and any applicable reactivation fees
- If within the 60-day data retention period, your previous data will be restored upon reactivation
- After the 60-day retention period, your data is permanently deleted and you will start with a fresh account
- Reactivation fees are non-refundable
- There is no access to data or partial data retrieval without full reactivation
WARNING: Permanent Data Deletion
After the 60-day retention period, your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted. Once deleted, there is absolutely no way for us to recover or retrieve your data under any circumstances. Export your data before cancellation.
SLA Service Credits
If AccuArk© fails to meet the uptime commitments outlined in our Service Level Agreement, you may be eligible for service credits.
- Service credits are not cash refunds — they are applied as a credit to your next invoice
- Credits are calculated based on the uptime tier achieved during the affected month (see SLA for details)
- You must request service credits within 30 days of the qualifying downtime event
- Credits are capped at 100% of one month's subscription fees
- Credits cannot be converted to cash, transferred, or applied to other accounts
Service credits represent your sole and exclusive remedy for any failure to meet the SLA. The service credit process is separate from the refund request process described above.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company:
- Your account may be suspended immediately
- We will provide documentation to the payment processor
- If the chargeback is found to be invalid, you may be responsible for additional fees
We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any billing issues before initiating a chargeback.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
