How do I apply a coupon or discount at the POS?

AccuArk supports several types of discounts:

Item-Level Discount:

1. Click the Disc. (Discount) cell on the item row in the grid
2. Enter the discount amount (dollars) or percentage
3. Click OK

Order-Level Discount:

1. In Standard POS: Click the Invoice Discount label in the Totals panel
2. In Compact POS: Click the Discounts button
3. Enter the discount amount or percentage
4. Click OK

Coupon:

1. Scan a coupon barcode (prefix CUPN:) or click Discounts → Coupon
2. Enter the coupon code
3. The system validates and applies the coupon

Gift Card:

1. Scan a gift card barcode (prefix GIFT:) or click Discounts → Gift Card
2. The amount is deducted from the card balance

Loyalty Points:

1. Attach a customer first
2. Click Discounts → Loyalty
3. Choose how many points to redeem

Note: Some discount actions require specific permissions. Only one coupon can be applied per sale.
