How do I hold a sale and come back to it later?

To pause a sale and serve another customer:

1. Click Hold (or press Ctrl+H / F6)
2. Enter a name for the held sale (if no customer is attached) so you can find it later
3. The sale is saved and the screen clears
4. Serve the next customer

To resume the held sale:

1. Click Unhold (or press Ctrl+U / F7)
2. Select the held sale from the list
3. The sale loads back into the POS with all items intact
4. Continue the sale normally

Important notes:

• You cannot hold a sale that has payments already applied
• The Unhold button only works when the POS grid is empty
• If "Hold Requires Manager Authorization" is enabled, a manager must approve the action
