FAQ: How do I change tax rates for a location?

Quick Answer

  1. Go to Program → Locations → double-click the location
  2. Click the Tax Rates tab
  3. Check the boxes next to the tax rates you want to enable
  4. Uncheck the boxes next to tax rates you want to disable

Important

  • Changes take effect immediately when you click the checkbox — there is no separate Save button
  • The tax rates listed come from your system-wide tax rate definitions
  • To create a brand new tax rate, click the green "Add A New Location Tax Rate" button
  • Changing a location's tax rates affects all future sales at that location
  • POS machines at this location will use the updated tax rates on their next sale
