FAQ: How do I change tax rates for a location?
Quick Answer
- Go to Program → Locations → double-click the location
- Click the Tax Rates tab
- Check the boxes next to the tax rates you want to enable
- Uncheck the boxes next to tax rates you want to disable
Important
- Changes take effect immediately when you click the checkbox — there is no separate Save button
- The tax rates listed come from your system-wide tax rate definitions
- To create a brand new tax rate, click the green "Add A New Location Tax Rate" button
- Changing a location's tax rates affects all future sales at that location
- POS machines at this location will use the updated tax rates on their next sale
