FAQ: How do I add a new POS machine?

Quick Answer

  1. Go to Program → Machines
  2. Click New in the toolbar
  3. Enter a machine name and select a location
  4. Configure payment methods and other settings
  5. Click Save & Close

What You Need to Know

  • Your subscription must have machine capacity at the selected location. If the location is full and no add-on slots are available, the machine is created but remains inactive until capacity opens up.
  • After creating the machine, you need to assign it to a workstation by opening Machine Configuration on that computer and using Menu → Set as This Machine.

If the Machine Is Created Inactive

You will see the message: "Subscription capacity reached. The machine has been created but will remain inactive until capacity is available."

To activate it:

  • Deactivate an unused machine at another location to free up a slot
  • Or purchase Extra Machine add-ons through your subscription
