| Barcode Command Postfix | Custom ESC/POS command sent after the barcode data (only visible when auto-commands are off) |
Testing the Printer
Click the Test Printer button to print a sample receipt. This sends a formatted test receipt (with sample items, totals, and a test barcode) to the configured printer. Use this to verify:
- The printer is connected and working
- The receipt format looks correct
- Barcodes print properly
- The character width is appropriate
Tips
- If receipts appear cut off on the right side, increase the Characters Per Line value
- If text is too small, increase the Receipt Font Size
- For thermal receipt printers, use "POS Printer" as the printer choice
- For standard inkjet/laser printers, use "Default Printer" with "Full Page" format
