How to Export and Print Reports

Every report in AccuArk can be exported to CSV or PDF and printed directly from the application. This guide covers each option in detail.

Exporting to CSV

CSV (Comma-Separated Values) export creates a file that can be opened in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet application.

How to Export

  1. Open any report and apply the filters you want
  2. Click Export > Export to CSV in the report menu, or press Ctrl+E
  3. Choose a save location and file name in the dialog
  4. Click Save

What Gets Exported

  • All visible columns in the report grid are included
  • Column headers become the first row
  • All currently loaded rows are exported (apply filters before exporting to control the data set)
  • Numbers and dates are exported in a format compatible with most spreadsheet applications

Tips for CSV Export

  • Filter first — Apply your location and date range filters before exporting so the file only contains the data you need
  • Open in Excel — Double-click the CSV file to open it in your default spreadsheet application
  • Pivot tables — Use Excel pivot tables on the exported data for custom analysis not available in the built-in reports

Exporting to PDF

PDF export creates a formatted document with your company name and report title as headers.

How to Export

  1. Open any report and apply the filters you want
  2. Click Export > Export to PDF in the report menu
  3. Choose a save location and file name in the dialog
  4. Click Save

PDF Layout

  • The report title appears at the top of each page
  • Column headers repeat on every page
  • Page numbers are included automatically
  • The layout uses landscape orientation by default for wide reports

FAQ

Can I schedule automatic report exports?
Not currently. Reports are generated on demand. You can export manually at any time.

Why is my CSV file showing numbers as text in Excel?
Excel sometimes auto-formats CSV values. Use Data > Text to Columns in Excel to convert text fields to numbers if needed.

Can I email a report directly from AccuArk?
Export the report to PDF first, then attach it to an email from your email client or from AccuArk's email feature if available for that report.
