How to Update Your Payment Method
Your payment information is securely managed by your payment provider (Stripe or PayPal) — not stored on AccuArk servers. This ensures maximum security for your financial data.
If You Pay with Credit/Debit Card (Stripe)
When you signed up with a credit or debit card, your payment is processed through Stripe. To update your card:
Option 1: Through Payment Failure Email
If your card fails, you'll receive an email from Stripe with a secure link to update your payment method. Click the link and enter your new card details.
Option 2: Contact Support
Open a support ticket and request a payment method update link. We'll send you a secure Stripe-hosted link to update your card.
Automatic Card Updates
Good news! Stripe often automatically updates your card details when your bank issues a new card (same account, new number/expiration). This happens behind the scenes through Stripe's card updater service.
If You Pay with PayPal
Your subscription is billed through your PayPal account. To change your funding source:
- Log in to PayPal.com
- Go to Settings (gear icon)
- Click Payments
- Under Manage automatic payments, find AccuArk
- Update your preferred funding source (card, bank, or PayPal balance)
You can also add or remove cards/bank accounts in PayPal, and PayPal will use your preferred method for future AccuArk charges.
Why Don't You Store My Card?
We deliberately do not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers. This approach:
- Protects you — even if our systems were compromised, your payment data is safe
- Reduces risk — we don't have to maintain PCI compliance for card storage
- Uses experts — Stripe and PayPal specialize in payment security
Your payment provider handles all sensitive data with bank-level encryption and fraud protection.
