How Are Machines Distributed Across Locations?

Your plan's machines are allocated per location. Extra machines you buy as add-ons are a pool you can use at any of your locations.

Your Plan's Machines: Per Location

For example, a plan with "4 Machines/Location" for 2 locations means:

• Location A can run up to 4 of the plan's machines
• Location B can run up to 4 of the plan's machines

The plan's machines can't be moved between locations — for example, not 5 at Location A and 3 at Location B.

Extra Machines: A Pool for Any Location

Extra machines bought as add-ons go into a shared add-on machine pool. Any location that needs more machines than its plan allowance uses machines from the pool, as long as some are left in it.

Adding a New Location

An extra location includes the same number of machines per location as your plan.

Example Scenario

Current: a plan with 2 locations, 4 machines each
Need: 6 machines at Location A

Solution: buy 2 extra machines. Location A runs 6 (its 4 plus 2 from the pool) and Location B keeps its 4. If Location B later needs a 5th machine, buy 1 more extra machine, or move one of the pool's machines from Location A.
